Teardown and Stitches

The teardown process begins! The interior, sound absorption material as well as the wiring harnesses were removed to expose the metal for stitch welding.

The doors and trunk pan were cut out to reduce weight.

Methods to aid chassis rigidity were mocked up.

The Beginning

We found this prestine '02 S2k on Craigslist. Clean title, the body was straight and ran very well. Stay tuned as we post up our progress pics!


Baseline dyno results were average for a 100k mile motor.

The car's baseline weight was also recorded.
